Below is a list of the many benefits you are entitled to as a member of SACA.
Small Business Issues Advocacy
SACA is committed to being your voice on issues that affect your business in all levels of governmental and private access and contracting. We do this by establishing relationships with public officials as well as key decision makers in the small business industry. Our intent is to make sure that your concerns are heard by those who make the decisions that affect your business. This is what separates NACA from other small business organizations
Bid & Plan Room
SACA’s fully functional, digital bid and plan room is located in the SACA offices at 816 Camaron, Suite 2.12. As a member of SACA your bid and plan room provides you timely contracting opportunity information. It contains bid opportunities from both private and public entities; this is one of your most valuable resources.
Business Skills Training
SACA has entered into partnerships with various government and educational institutions to bring our members the best business skills training available. Our training seminars are scheduled on a regular basis and are designed to give you the knowledge and skills that you need to take your business to a higher level.
Access to Low-Interest Financing
As a member of SACA you have exclusive access to interim and short term financing through our partnership with the Community Business and Loan, LLC (CB&L). CB&L provides low interest, short term financing to help you take the next step in building your business.
Access to Bonding
SACA members have access to project bonding through our partnership with the Associated Contractors Enterprise, a general contracting company that will bid projects that require bonding and bring SACA's member trades under its umbrella.
Access to Referral Service
NACA is in the process of forming a partnership with the Executive Action Referrals and Services (EARS) that will provide its members with the benefit of business support, marketing and outreach. The partnership is in development and will be unveiled in the coming months.
Business Webpage
As a benefit of membership, NACA members will receive their own business web page. The page is offered free of cost and provides marketing opportunities through access to the World Wide Web. The web page system has been designed for easy information and graphic entry. Web pages can be set up with minimal technical knowledge.
Access to Contracting Opportunities
SACA provides various opportunities for contracting through the Bid & Plan room. Our system is completely electronic and hard copy plans are available as well. The Associated Contractors Enterprise is another tool for contracting opportunities. ACE acts as a General Contractor, with its pool of subcontractors coming exclusively from the SACA membership.
Joint Venture Opportunities
Many SACA members have taken advantage of our networking events to form temporary partnerships, joint ventures, in which they pool their resources to work on projects that they would not have otherwise been able to accomplish. The strength of the individual member lies in the collective strength of the association.
"The Hammer" Newsletter
The Hammer is a monthly informational online publication for members and supporters of SACA. The Hammer contains timely and specific information about SACA activities, initiatives, opportunities and general news about our members and their accomplishments. The Hammer strives to collect and publish industry and community information that may be of interest to our membership.
